About This Spot

Stepping into Los Arcos feels like a gentle invitation to slow down and savor simple joys. Nestled on a busy stretch of Watson Road, this Mexican restaurant strikes a warm balance between lively and laid-back—a place where the hum of conversation and the clatter of dishes blend with the inviting aroma of grilled spices and fresh salsa.

The pace here honors comfort without rushing, encouraging you to settle in with friends or family over shared plates and familiar favorites. Whether it’s the glowing warmth from the kitchen or the friendly attentiveness of the staff, there’s a sense of genuine care woven through the atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot where chips and salsa keep coming without prompt, and every visit feels a little like catching up with an old friend.

Los Arcos’ menu reads like a journey through authentic regional flavors, each offering balanced and thoughtful rather than flashy. From the fresh zest of shrimp fajitas to the hearty satisfaction of a molcajete sizzling with savory meats and melted cheese, the dishes feel rooted in tradition with an honest simplicity. Accompanying those with a perfectly mixed margarita or a crisp mojito adds a refreshing touch that complements the food’s depth.

It's a space where details matter—be it the crispness of the tortilla chips, the attentive refills, or the unexpected kindness of a clean, well-stocked restroom. This focus on human moments and practical care quietly enhances the overall experience.

For anyone looking to explore Mexican cuisine beyond the familiar, without fuss or pretense, Los Arcos offers a neighborhood welcome with thoughtful plates and easygoing cheer. It’s a place to linger, discover, and enjoy the kind of flavors and hospitality that keep both locals and newcomers coming back.

Seriously spectacular food. Fresh and flavorful margaritas. No shortcuts taken here. Great service and sparkling clean restaurant too! Try the molcajete and pineapple fajitas.

Love the food and drinks at this place, and the staff are super sweet! The margaritas are *perfect* and fajitas make an amazing pair. This place is definitely worth trying!

My NEW favorite!!!! SUPER DELICIOUS, and , BEST VALUE for your money! Maria, her brother, and, their staff are so friendly, and, provide EXCELLENT service. So much slections to choose from their menu (look at the pictures), the serving is huge, and, parking is easy (disabled friendly). Close to everything. If you drink, they serve liquor here too (I can't say much about this as I don't drink). Everything is just WONDERFUL here. Come by, and, see for yourself Attached is the food we got (rib eye and shrimp, and, chicken fajitas), AND, the current menu as of 7/18/2024.

Staff and service was great! Our chips and salsa were refilled without us asking. I had the Steak tacos, Street corn, and flan all were 10/10! The women’s restroom was clean and had complimentary sanitary products. Which I thought was awesome! I would recommend coming here if you like good food, music, and friendly staff :)

We went to Los Arcos after the Science Center because I haven't eaten in 30 hours and it was SO GOOD. We ordered a pitcher of peach margaritas fairly priced at $25 and got the ACP (Arroz Con Pollo) and the gf got the Quesadilla Grande with extra cheese topping for 75¢. Our Server was very friendly and restocked us on chips! Chips and salsa were so good! Chips were not stale, they were crispy and flavorful along with the salsa which was probably mild but to me it was a little spicy but SO FLAVORFUL. We went from like 5pm-5:45 on a Thursday and was not packed at all. Overall super good experience and will be back.

I have been here a couple times and always have had a great meal with a wonderful quick service. This time I decided to order something different than what I normally order. I ordered the los Arcos Especial Quesadilla. Wow, it was special! This was delicious. So much flavor to it. It had grilled chicken, chorizo, bacon, ham, onions, pineapple, and purple peppers in it. It was bursting with flavor and then topped with cheese sauce. This no doubt will quickly become my new all-time favorite. They have plenty of parking here. They have a small Bar area. I also noticed that they have a separate room if you have a large party or function.

As I sat watching one too many soccer games with my friends after work, my evening took an unexpected turn when my dinner companion and roommate texted me about a new tex-mex joint we had to try. Before I knew it, she was outside on a turquoise moped, ready to whisk me away to Los Arcos. We arrived at this hidden gem of a restaurant and were greeted by a charming hostess. The menu was overwhelming with options, but we finally settled on our choices - enchiladas verdes for her and el pollo loco for me. The food was delicious, the portions were massive, and the cheese sauce was to die for. After stuffing ourselves silly, we hopped back on the moped, full and content, thinking about our next culinary adventure. Los Arcos turned out to be a fantastic Mexican spot in south city with a wide variety of choices, cozy atmosphere, and friendly staff. Parking was a breeze, and the overall experience was nothing short of wonderful. Cheers to many more tex-mex escapades to come!

Highly recommend! They are so nice and were understanding with my allergy accommodation. We’ve been several times the food tastes so fresh and it’s always so tidy there. They are extremely kind and the food is priced well, once you find a dish you love it’s a go to!
